i enjoy working closely with people creating personal documentations. even when doing photography i think in series of images as if to tell a story, while also creating images that can stand alone.
aesthetically, i like to work close up using wide angles to give an intimate feel. i always try to capture aspects of duration, time and dynamic movement.
i use digital equipment for most assignments and analogue/black&white film for my personal work or when specially requested by my clients.
i am currently working on a documentary project in okinawa, japan and bahia, brazil. the works of these projects are going to be exhibited in june, 2010 in são paulo, brazil, at the museu afro brazileira.
